Counter Terrorism Policing Kenya is a Multi-Agency Forum for spearheading fight against terrorism through multifaceted approach. The forum brings together State security apparatus, civil society, members of the public and other institutions to create the much required synergy in the war on terrorism. 

This soft power approach will come in handy to supplement the government's robust hard power counter terrorism strategies which continues to pay dividends.

Terrorism Awareness

​

We will be focal point of terrorism awareness in the country to enlighten audience on the ever evolving terrorism threat, modus operandi, effects, ways to deter terror attacks, role of community in fighting terrorism, government counter terrorism measures  and so on.

Information Sharing Platform

​

One of the weakest link in the fight against terrorism is apparent disconnect between security agencies and members of the public which often hampers effective sharing of information on terrorism activities for appropriate action. 

Counter Terrorism Policing Kenya cures this lapse by providing a secure, tamper proof and confidential platform for sharing information on terrorism which can go along way in preventing terror attacks. Anti-Radicalization & Deradicalization

The Forum will sensitize communities especially youth against being lured to be radicalized and recruited to terrorist groups like Al-Shabaab. Counter Terrorism Policing Kenya is anti-radicalization voice and will advance deradicalization initiatives in the country for rehabilitation and reintegration of those affected to society. To this end, Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism is our top priority.
